Abi Gardiner, Mums on the Go Business Network Inc

I am a Mum of three children, Ethan, Noah and Rahli.  I am the founder and President of an amazing group of business mums in Cairns, called Mums on the Go Business Network inc. We are a not for profit incorporation with an aim to support and unite likeminded mums who run their own businesses. As a group, we meet face to face monthly to assist our members with education, share ideas and to provide a friendly atmosphere that encourages collaboration and understanding the challenges of busy working mums juggling the balance of business and family.



Aimee Sherriff, The Powerhouse Collective

I live in the beautiful Noosa, am a Wife and Mum to three children and are absolutely passionate about Woman.  I am the founder of The Powerhouse Collective which is a Business Development Hub for work from home mums with onsite childcare.   I also offer Business Retreats, Networking Events and workshops.  I’ve just opened a gorgeous Co-Working space where business mamas can Parent and work all under the same roof.



Nadia Pessarossi, Tara Costigan Foundation (TCF)

I am a driven, happy single Mumpreneur of one. Tara Costigan was a young Canberra Mum; murdered by her ex-partner infront of her two young sons while holding her eight-day old baby daughter. From tragedy, we bring hope. The Tara Costigan Foundation is a non-for-profit raising awareness and breaking the cycle of violence through our Tara’s Angels Service. The service is unique in Australia and provides free long-term holistic, personalised support post-crisis. The service rebuilds lives; breaking the cycle of violence by preventing the client from going back to the abuser; offering better options and building their self-esteem.


Penny Garvey, Heal For Life WA Inc

Hi, I am a Mum with a blended family of 5 children. I have 2 business’s as well as being part time CEO Heal For Life WA a not for profit helping change the lives of adults, teenagers and children who have dealt with childhood trauma and abuse. This could be a one off incident or ongoing. The impact on their lives can include symptoms such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, drug and alcohol addiction.  Trauma is the most, avoided, ignored, denied, misunderstood and untreated cause of human suffering – Dr Peter Levine Author of Walking the Tiger


Rachelle Panitz, So Brave Ltd. Breast Cancer Fundraiser

At 32, in the middle of an amazing career, with a 3 year-old daughter and a 6 week old son, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. In 2016, I founded the nationwide initiative empowering young women (most are young mums) who have survived breast cancer. The So Brave Project, now in its second year, has empowered dozens of young breast cancer survivors and brought together photographers, a documentary crew, bodypaint artists, graphic artists and their networks and communities to both raise awareness that #youngwomengetbreastcancertoo so that all women should be #breastaware and raise lots of money for breast cancer research.


Rochelle Courtenay, Share the Dignity

My name is Rochelle Courtenay Founder of Share the Digntiy.  A mother of two beautiful teenage girls. Share the Dignity is a National Registered charity helping to ensure that everyone is afforded the dignity in life that so many of us take for granted.  Since 2015 we have collected over $9 MILLION dollars of donations and funds ensuring we make a real difference to those most in need. We hold three collections a year #dignity drive in April and August and #itsinthebag Xmas appeal in November. We hold 3 events a year #DigniTEA in May, #yoga4dignity in September and #istandup comedy night in October.


Shaye Woodhouse, Charlee’s Basket

I’m Shaye Woodhouse. I am a full-time stay at home mother to two young children and Not-For-Profit Founder and Director – Charlee’s Basket Bereavement Hampers INC. – Trading as Charlee’s Basket. There is no other provider of gifts for grieving parents in Australia, as detailed as Charlee’s Basket. Charlee’s Basket is led by myself, a mother who has experienced first-hand what it is like to lose a baby. The basket has been designed around this authentic experience and knowledge. Providing a care hamper to women and their families who have suffered, from the trauma of a birth experience ending in tragedy
