Amy McGlade – Baby Bee Hummingbirds

Amy McGlade is a mama to four, a passionate midwife and globally renowned DNA & BreastMilk Jewellery artist – she turns special mementos into tangible pieces of artisan handmade jewellery. Using breast milk, baby’s cord stump, a first curl, tooth or embryo ash* Amy creates a way that mums can wear these moments forever. Amy serves mums all around the world, helping them to cherish those once in a lifetime moments, bringing them to life within her keepsake jewellery. Because genetically love laced jewellery.. well that is something truly extraordinary.

*straws from an IVF cycle are cremated by Amy. She then infuses the ashes into the jewellery- a concept invented by Amy herself.



Babara Vermeulen – Specsavers Victor Harbor

Growing up in South Africa, Babara always dreamt of being an optometrist. She knew, she wanted to be able to care others. Moving to New Zealand after school, she started her degree at Auckland University, graduating Optometry with Honours.

Receiving an amazing job opportunity, Babara and husband moved to South Australia where her career began. Babara worked hard and long to excel in being the best optometrist she could be. There the opportunity arose for her to open her own practice in Victor Harbor, South Australia. Babara took this opportunity to open the practice to apply what she had learned and to be a part of the local community, providing the community with the best health care and service possible, raising a team to have the same values and vision.



Colette McShane – The HIIT Factory 

The HIIT Factory is the gym for people who don’t like gyms! There are 6 locations in Victoria, with franchise opportunities opening up, and plans to roll out many more in Australia and then into the UK. The HIIT Factory has put group fitness back on the map in Australia and sessions are packed out with people training with our cutting edge formats, mostly using bodyweight and no equipment. Sessions at The HIIT Factory are energy filled, for all levels, and get incredible results for clients.
The HIIT Factory really is a big family, completely inclusive, and many sessions are child friendly also.



Donna Taylor – Dots By Donna

Donna Taylor is the Creative Illustrator behind Dots by Donna. A self-taught artist, Donna embraces her unique talent for the drawing technique known as stippling / pointillism. Simply, she uses a fine-liner pen to freehand draw – in dots – the authentic faces of people and animals from around the world.

A talking point in any home, Donna’s intricately detailed originals take up to 120 hours to complete. Every line, wrinkle or hair in Donna’s drawings is made from the layering of dots. Take a close look, not one line…

In 2017, Donna opened her first homewares store, stocking local Australian small brands whose products beautifully complement her artwork.



Dr Anh Nguyen – Female Plastic Surgeon

Dr Anh is a mum of 3 and a Specialist Plastic Surgeon, who arrived in Australia as a refugee many years ago and is blessed to call Australia home. Dr Anh grew up in Melbourne and was always devoted becoming a doctor. When Dr Anh undertook the Plastic Surgery program only 3% of the world’s plastic surgeons were female. Dr Anh had to be extremely resilient to complete the program whilst carrying her first child, completing her exams with a young child and being one of few women in the country on the training program. Now in Perth, Dr Anh has grown a successful practice which is focused on changing lives, self-love and patient care. In Dr Anh’s spare time she devotes her time to philanthropy, inspiring other women, and mentoring training plastic surgeons.



Jessica Arroyo – Weigh Less with Jess

Weigh Less with Jess was created to target both men and women who struggle with losing weight. Those who are down and out about the way they feel and look. I am considered the last resort before extreme weight loss measures e.g. surgery.



Jessica Cleary – Hopscotch and Harmony – Child, Teen & Adult Psychology

Hopscotch & Harmony – Child Teen and Adult Psychology was established in 2013 by our Director and Principal Psychologist, Jessica Cleary. H&H now have 15 psychologists, one dietitian, one occupational therapist and six administrative team members. In the last 12 months they have held over 6700 therapy sessions with community members. As well as being the Director and found of H&H, Jessica is the home-educating mother of a 9-year-old daughter, a 7-year-old son and a 3-year-old son.

In addition to the main Werribee clinic, in 2017 Jessica established an adolescent centre in Point Cook and opened another four-room consulting clinic in Belmont.



Jordana Edwards – Clean Tea

A mother of three, Founder and CEO of Clean Tea, Jordana started her business as a market stall in Byron Bay 4 years ago with only three tea blends. The business has grown to an established tea brand with a shop and factory in Byron Bay.

2016 saw the launch of their concept “Sample Box” which resulted in rapid growth for the brand. Boasting over 45 tea blends and products, Clean Tea is stocked nationwide in cafes, restaurants and stores. The business offers delicious organic and premium handcrafted teas that benefit breastfeeding mums, immunity, health, men’s health and general wellbeing.



Kelly Walter – Daily Orders

Kelly Walter is an ex-Naval Officer, having served over thirteen years in the Royal Australian Navy, deploying to the Middle East, and to Africa as part of the United Nations. More importantly, she is a Mum of 2 kids under 7. She prides herself on being there for her family when needed. She loves playing Saxophone and Clarinet in her band but is terrible at drawing. Kelly and her family are learning to love camping with their dog Rosie. Daily Orders designs, manufactures and distributes high quality gloss acrylic planning boards around Australian and globally. With its origins in the military, the planners seek to replace or augment the use of digital screens and paper based planners. They force conversations in the home or office where lost post it notes and unsynchronised calendars cause mayhem.



Kendall Morton – Home Care Assistance Sunshine Coast

Home Care Assistance provides in-home support for people aged over 65 or with a disability. They pride themselves on being on the forefront of industry reform, by offering clients choice and control over their services and delivering a high quality, personalised service with lower fees. Kendall leads the team with a vision of excellence in every aspect of the business.

Home Care Assistance has grown from zero to a team of 52 staff and has supported over 1200 clients and the opportunity to be making a difference to the lives of clients from Redcliffe to Bundaberg. The model is holistic and considers the supports that can enhance life purpose for the ageing population.



Lisa Burling – LBPR

Lisa Burling is a single mum to Luca (7) and Nate (4); a PR professional with over 20 years national and international experience under her belt; and founder and CEO of award-winning PR consultancy, LBPR. LBPR is a business in perpetual motion and Lisa leads a team of women on a diverse range of projects.

Lisa created Catalyst, Australia’s first student-run consultancy, enabling charities access to pro bono PR, and students access to real world experience.



Mariana Boulos – The Well Store

Mariana is a mother to three gorgeously mischievous boys who keep her on her toes whilst juggling The Well Store. By trade she is an Assistant Principal, taking leave to nurse both her terminally ill parents in 2008. During this time Mariana began to  research toxins and learnt our largest organ – the skin was by far a much more important part of our overall health and wellbeing just as much as food and water. Lists of toxin filled ingredients in daily products were impacting ones health and the environment, which led her to hunt for safer products for her family & friends, these were the humble beginnings of The Well Store. Launched in 2016, Mariana’s years of self-guided research & fierce passion for sharing safer and cruelty free alternatives led her down the path to educating consumers to safer products and choices packaged in sustainable & ecofriendly packaging.



Naomi Findlay – Naomi Findlay Pty Ltd

Naomi Findlay is a proud mum of 4 beautiful children – Bailey, Georgia, Lawson and Hudson. Naomi is known as Australia’s Rapid Renovation Expert and works with people around the country helping them create wealth and freedom using her Rapid Renovation Formula.

She is the founder of NaomiFindlay.com and the Principal and Founder of the International Institute of Home Staging helping students forge a career in the home staging industry. Naomi is also the author of the best-selling book Ignite Your Property Mojo and Selling Your Property for More Money. In 2018, Naomi created and launched the Rapid Reno Mate smartphone app, the first app that can manage your renovation budgets, timelines and trades all in one hub. She is also the creator and host of The Reno Show, a digital renovation series giving her audience inspiration and expert advice to renovate and buy property smarter.
