Bernadette Torresan, GO Local Media Group

Bernadette is a dedicated single mother to a nine-year old little boy. After an incredibly difficult phase of life, recently divorced, unemployed due to work place bullying, all exacerbated by the distance from family, she was looking for something positive in her life and so she decided to pursue her life long dream to publish a local, inspiring lifestyle magazine.

GO Local Media Group grew out of the initial desire to only publish a magazine and by the second year of business, she hosted her first fashion show for regional Australia. Today, GO Local Media Group sets their sites on inspiring on a national level.



Brooke Maree Allen-Rhodes, Brooke Maree Babywearing

Brooke Maree is mum to two beautiful children under 5 and a Babywearing Educator based in Brisbane who passionately connects with parents in her local community and around the world assisting them in using one of the most practical parenting tools available- a baby carrier or sling! She works tirelessly to educate parents and professionals on Babywearing best practices to see them carrying their children safely, comfortably and confidently. She has big visions to continue advancing her industries standards to see Babywearing become a more commonplace practice that’s normal and accessible to all. In doing so, she speaks up for the babies who can’t, and advocates on their behalf for more cuddles and connection; building future generations of children who feel safe, secure, loved, and grow up thriving.



Danielle Busuttil, Danielle B Photography 

Danielle works as a photographer from her home studio. A mum of 3 beautiful girls 6, 2, 10months. A midwife of 14years. With a love for babies and young children, she takes the time to capture precious images that can be cherished forever and passed down as heirlooms. Danielle gives back to the community by always saying yes to fundraisers. Also having had 3 miscarriages Danielle offers Rainbow maternity sessions complimentary.



Joanne Ling & Tracey Fry, Additive-Free Lifestyle

This sister duo, Jo & Tracey are change makers. They are passionate about educating everyone (especially their own families) on exactly what is in the food you eat and the products you put on your skin.  They love teaching families how to live a life less toxic, less stressful and more joyful.  This dynamic pair has quite literally changed thousands of families lives through their online courses, membership program and Podcast show and it’s certainly their mission to keep your family as safe as possible.



Kelly Dennis, The Fit Station Caroline Springs

The Fit Station CS is a family-friendly group fitness business with their very own children’s area (the only in the west) which means no child care costs and children are welcome at all classes. This allows mums who usually don’t have the option to train to be able to do so in a safe place to play right next to where we train giving them peace of mind and a chance to do something for themselves.

The Fit Station is unlike any other fitness businesses, the staff are hands on with all members, not just with their training but with everything through to the events they prepare their members for and participate alongside them in. The facility is a community, a true fit family where is everyone is welcomed and the energy and vibe is somewhere everyone wants to be.



Louisa Williams, Kooshy Kids

Louisa is mother to Mila, 6 and Jack, 4 and started Kooshy Kids in April 2017. Kooshy Kids is a business specialising in innovative and exciting products that are designed to take the stress out of family travel.

Louisa’s best-selling products include the Kooshy Kids Kooshion – an inflatable cushion used to create a flat space between the seats of a aeroplane, KontraBand Headphones – cordless headphones in the form of a comfy headband and the Kooshy Kids Travel Tray – a portable, hygienic tray that stores children’s belongings (pencils, iPad, drink bottle etc.) and contains them on the tray whilst travelling. Kooshy Kids is Australia’s only one stop shop for all things family travel and Louisa regularly develops new products to add to the popular and unique range of goods.



Naomi Amat, Living Life On The Spectrum

Naomi is a wife, proud mum of three and a passionate individual. She has the ability to see situations in ways many people wouldn’t and loves being able to share and educate how you can learn to turn obstacles into opportunities in all that you do. Naomi leads by example. By using the challenges she is exposed to each day of her journey she puts her approach of turning obstacles into opportunities in her own life, and uses her learnings to educate coaching clients and members of her community in doing the same. Through Living Life on the Spectrum, Naomi aims to empower, teach and inspire carers/parents on the Autism journey. Naomi does this through one on one coaching sessions, blogs, vlogs thought-provoking posts and interactions in her awesome global Facebook community of over 16,000 parents/carers.



Nicole Urbanski, Urban Upcycle

Whilst being a single Mum to one son, Nicole has been fortunate enough to turn her passion for the environment and sustainability, into a business when in 2015 she became the co-founder of Urban Upcycle along with her sister, Angela. In July 2018, Nicole became the sole proprietor.

Urban Upcycle provides a clean waste collection and drop off service for businesses and households in the Geelong and surrounding areas.  All waste items are then repurposed, used and sold as art and craft supplies to members of the general public, including childcare centres, kindergartens and schools, for further use in their educational practices. Through this process, plus additional services such as incursions, crafting sessions, parties, events and school holiday programs, Urban Upcycle are increasing awareness of the importance of rethinking, refusing, reducing, reusing and repurposing when it comes to our waste, resulting in a reduced negative environmental impact.

Love It Styling was created and founded by Rebecca Lovett. Combining her love for style and sophistication, life experience and natural talent, Love It Styling was born. Rebecca began her professional career working as a stylist in the property and staging industry and as an expert in her field, has since branched out into event, corporate and wedding styling.
