International Radio and TV host, bestselling co-author, author, speaker, and visionary, Toni Lontis quietly entered the entrepreneurial world in 2019, post-publication of her memoir, Resilience.

After 35years in nursing, from clinical practice to running her own nurse consultancy company, Toni wanted to write a book. She wanted to talk about what it takes to heal from dysfunction and trauma in her own life to create a heart-centered impact and help heal others.

With the publication of the book, came the audiobook production, and Toni was introduced to the power of the spoken word.   A “chance” conversation led to a meeting with an American Media company and Radio Toni was born.

From these humble beginnings grew a love of interviewing businesses and people, about life, business, and the universe. Her intuitive interview style has taken the world by storm.

Toni now has multiple live streaming TV shows and hosts a series of business shows, on different platforms, based in the US and broadcasting to the world. In 2022 Toni is launching her own TV Network and actively looking for Channel partners to showcase their message to the world 2022. She remains passionate about helping you find your voice and share it with the world.

When did you start your business?

Technically the Company was launched in 2017, long before the business. It was at a time when I was embarking on a transformative course that I thought would launch me into the business world. The universe had other ideas and shortly after setting the company up, we lost nearly everything in a catastrophic flood. My business “sunk” pun intended, before it even started.

Then in 2018, I finally started to write about my life and all the things I had been through and survived. In 2019 I published the book, Resilience – Memoir of a broken little girl discovering a woman of strength and beauty. https://pageturner.us/bookstore/resilience-memoir-of-a-broken-little-girl-discovering-a-woman-on-strength-and-beauty-autobiography

What was the inspiration behind starting this business?

I would not be in business today had I not been a Mum. Had not been to hell and back with my daughter, had she not inspired me to write a book. I would not be in business today. Being a mum started me on this business journey.

I had a vague idea that I wanted to help women with my message, help them discover who they are and what they can achieve,  even when life is completely against us. I had no idea what that would look like and much less idea about entrepreneurship.  I thought that the book I would write would be so successful that I would be traveling the world speaking and writing further books. That’s not what happened but it led to the path I’m on now. I am so grateful for that. In the process of getting out of my own way and continuing to work on my own healing and mindset, I am leaning into the person I am becoming on this business journey.

The inspiration came in stages for me and still does. From the book to the audiobook to live streaming radio across the US to a desire to help others do the same thing. From o an idea at 2 is in the morning that saw the development of “The Host your own radio show programs” that evolved into The Online Broadcaster Packages. I am inspired by the businesswomen I talk to and strive to offer more value to those that work with me.

These packages help busy entrepreneurs leverage the power of online broadcasting to create their own show series, producing amazing content, and this helps them build new avenues that open up their business to global markets and strategically drive new revenue.

The Universe always has amazing plans for us and learning to listen to the intuitive voice we all have, we can have a better life than we could ever expect, dream or anticipate.

What are you most excited about in your business?

The launch of The Everyday Women’s Network a  Global streaming platform, for women everywhere to be inspired, empowered, educated, and helped. It is women-owned, women-led, women supported, and is balanced by the support of wonderful men.  Think Netflix for women, where women can view the sort of content they want to in a supportive environment in their own homes, on their TVs, and anywhere they want to consume video content to support their lives. There is a need for women to have a safe space to tell their stories, celebrate their triumphs, and engage with a global community of women.

What has been the most challenging thing about starting your business?

Finding the balance (work, rest, and play as well as mind, body, and soul), staying cash flow positive, and being dedicated to lifelong learning that moves you forward. I’ve been so lucky to have invested in education, coaching, and mentorship on this business journey.

What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting a business?

Some good basic business education, coupled with a written mission and goals is a great place to start. Having a financial plan is really important. It’s incredibly challenging to start a business from the air and yes it can be done but before giving up your paid job have a sound plan to move you and your business forward whilst you build your empire.
