What was the inspiration behind starting this business?
I created The Queen of Evolution because I saw so many women 40+ with wisdom, grit, and experience but no roadmap for turning it into a thriving business. I wanted to give them the strategy, confidence, and support to evolve into the leaders they were always meant to be.
What are you most excited about in your business?
I’m most excited about seeing women realise they don’t have to play small anymore, that they can build businesses on their own terms, backed by strategy and soul. Watching their confidence grow as their vision becomes real is the heartbeat of The Queen of Evolution.
What has been the most challenging thing about starting your business?
One of the biggest challenges has been stepping out of the identity of being “just” a well-known lawyer and allowing people to see me as a business strategist too. It’s taken courage to redefine myself publicly, but it’s also been the most rewarding evolution.
What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting a business?
Start before you feel ready. Clarity comes from action, not waiting for the perfect moment. Trust the experience you already have, get the right support around you, and don’t be afraid to back yourself: your business can only grow as boldly as you do.
Why did you enter the AusMumpreneur Awards?
I entered the AusMumpreneur Awards to celebrate how far I’ve come and to show other women, especially mothers (and grandmothers like in my case) that it’s possible to build a business you love without sacrificing who you are. It’s about honouring the journey and inspiring others to back themselves too.
What did you enjoy the most about being part of the awards?
What I enjoyed most was connecting with other incredible women who are building businesses while raising families. It reminded me that we’re stronger together when we share our stories and celebrate each other’s wins. Winning silver was nice too!
What surprised you most about the awards?
What surprised me most was how genuine and supportive the community is. It’s not just about competition, it’s about connection, collaboration, and celebrating the different ways women are creating impact through their businesses and families.
How did the awards help you in your business?
The awards gave my business incredible visibility and credibility. They opened doors to new connections, sparked conversations with women who resonated with my story, and positioned me as a trusted voice for women 40+ building businesses on their own terms.
What advice would you give to other mums thinking about entering the awards?
Do it, you’ve got nothing to lose and so much to gain. The process itself is empowering because it makes you pause and recognise just how much you’ve achieved. Win or not, you’ll walk away with clarity, confidence, and connections that will support you and your business.
What has been the best thing about starting your own business?
The best thing has been the freedom to create a business that reflects who I am, my values, my vision, and the way I want to live. It’s given me the ability to design work around my life, not the other way around, and that’s been life-changing.
What’s happening next in your business?
Alongside my 1:1 coaching, I’m continuing to create new offers at every price point so that no matter where a woman is on her business journey, she has access to the strategy and support she needs to grow with confidence.
What are your big plans for the future?
My big plans are to step even more into the role of thought leader and speaker, using my voice to inspire and empower women globally. I want to create lasting impact by showing women it’s never too late to evolve, lead, and build businesses that change their lives, and the world.
