June Mac is a published author, intuition coach and mentor who helps heart-led entrepreneurs and individuals trust their inner wisdom, take aligned action and create purposeful lives and businesses that leave a lasting legacy. As the founder of The Little Psychic School and host of The Little Psychic Podcast, she blends intuition with practical strategy to empower visionary entrepreneurs worldwide. Through her coaching, courses and community, June guides others to awaken their intuition, step into soul-aligned leadership and build freedom-based businesses that create meaningful impact.
When did you start your business?
I started In 2020. I stepped fully into my brand as myself, June Mac, building on the solo entrepreneurial path I first began in 2016.
What was the inspiration behind starting this business?
The inspiration behind starting my business was the birth of my first daughter in 2014. I knew I never wanted to leave her for full-time work again, yet I struggled with postnatal depression and anxiety.
I felt like I had lost myself, caught between who I once was and who I wanted to become for her. In the beginning I had no idea how to bridge that gap.
In 2016, I started my first business with her by my side. It gave me purpose and showed me that I could contribute, help others and build something that grew with our family.
The real turning point came in 2020, when I realised my business truly took off once I stopped looking at and comparing myself to others and began trusting my own guidance and further developing my intuitive abilities.
That shift changed everything. I became devoted to helping women discover and trust their own intuitive voices, their internal navigation systems.
When you embrace this, business and life begin to flow effortlessly, misalignment and burnout dissolve and joy, freedom, fulfilment, abundant opportunities and lasting influence naturally unfold.
What are you most excited about in your business?
What excites me most in my business right now is the launch of my new mastermind and the momentum it’s creating.
I’m thrilled to be reaching more people and helping women discover the power of their intuition in both life and business. My mission is to make intuition as widely respected and valued as business strategy, showing that when you trust your inner guidance, success and fulfilment naturally follow.
I’m also so proud to be contributing as an author to the 2026 Asumumpreneur anthology book, which celebrates inspiring women entrepreneurs!
What has been the most challenging thing about starting your business?
My greatest challenge has been finding the right balance between what I learn or see from others and what feels right for me in my own business.
Over the years in business, I battled with silencing the inner voice that questioned why I so felt called to create certain things, even when I knew they didn’t make strategic sense.
I addressed this by learning to trust my intuition. Once I tuned into what genuinely felt aligned and followed those nudges, instead of comparing myself to others, everything started to shift.
I stopped burning out as much, doors began to open and opportunities presented. It proved that intuition trumps logic.
When you find the right blend of strategy and soul, success becomes sustainable and you stop having to sacrifice parts of yourself to achieve it.
What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting a business?
If you’ve been dreaming of starting a business, or feeling that gentle nudge, listen to it.
There’s always a reason and a lesson behind that call. Building your own business is one of the most powerful ways to create true freedom. As long as you design it around your life, rather than letting your life revolve around it.
Trust where your heart is guiding you, even if others give advice that seems logically “right” but doesn’t feel aligned with you. I know I could have avoided a lot of wrong turns if I’d listened to my own inner guidance from the start.
Find the right support, a coach or mentor you feel deeply drawn to, someone who embodies the qualities and success you aspire to.
With that in mind though, still always use your own discernment! No one knows your path like you do.
Learn from others, observe and be inspired, but stay on your own journey. Follow your heart without comparing yourself to anyone else (we are all here to be unique and have our own unique purposes) and use others as inspiration, not intimidation. No one can do you, like YOU!
Why did you enter the AusMumpreneur Awards?
To be honest I have always looked up to the Ausmumpreneur community and aspired to be a part of it. When I was nominated, I had the strongest gut feeling that this was something incredibly special and I just knew I had to put my all into winning!! I’m so grateful and glad that I did!
What did you enjoy the most about being part of the awards?
What I enjoyed most was hearing the inspiring stories of other mums in business. I couldn’t believe the incredible journeys so many women had been on….
The lengths they’d gone to, the challenges they’d overcome.
I felt so proud to be part of a showcase celebrating these stories and to see the Ausmumpreneur team create such an amazing event recognising the hard work and achievements of women and mothers.
Just being in that space, connecting and chatting with other women, lit something inside me.
I genuinely felt like I upgraded simply by being in their presence.
What surprised you most about the awards?
What surprised me most was how down-to-earth and genuinely kind everyone was!
I have to admit, I completely fan-girled a few times. I was already a fan of so many of the women nominated and when they came over and started talking to me, actually interested in what I do, I was honestly star-struck.
I even lost my words a few times! Which isn’t something that happens to me often.
It was such a humbling and crazy experience to be in the presence of women I admire so much!
How did the awards help you in your business?
The awards have helped elevate my brand and services on so many levels.
I feel like they’ve given me more authority and credibility as a coach, thought leader, business owner and author.
Being part of this incredible event has also opened the door to new opportunities (like being a part of another book!) and brought in new clients, helping me grow my business in ways I never thought of.
What advice would you give to other mums thinking about entering the awards?
If you feel a strong gut pull, like I did, please go for it! And, give it everything you’ve got!
Plus, make sure you’re ready for the big wave of possibilities that comes after.
The experience is incredible and you won’t regret putting yourself out there.
What has been the best thing about starting your own business?
The best thing about starting my business has been the flexibility around raising a family and the fulfilment it brings. The freedom that no full-time job working for someone else could ever provide.
But mostly it feels so amazing that I’ve been able to serve many people and that I’ve been able to help them while literally living in and following my passion, stepping into my purpose and being genuinely lit up and excited to work every single day.
I also love that my three girls get to see me as an example of what’s possible, I feel like I’ve become a happier and more present Mum because of this journey.
What’s happening next in your business?
What’s happening next in my business is incredibly exciting! I’ve just launched a new mastermind designed to help women fully embrace and awaken their intuition, step into soul-aligned leadership and build freedom-based businesses that feel good on every level and bring in abundant levels of income, impact, freedom and fulfilment.
Alongside this, I’m continuing to grow my coaching programs, courses and community, helping more people discover that intuition is the ultimate secret weapon for building an aligned, successful business and should be just as respected and powerful as any traditional business strategy. It will help you build a business that actually feels like YOU.
I also have some incredible, well-known guests coming up on The Little Psychic Podcast. Overall, I’m focused on creating more momentum, helping more people, and making a bigger difference in the lives of soul-led entrepreneurs worldwide.
What are your big plans for the future?
My big plans for the future include writing more books, speaking on bigger stages, growing my community and creating more in-person transformative events.
