What was the inspiration behind starting this business?
The passion behind creating KAILO came from a health journey for my son and wanting to make sure he wasn’t falling victim to his DNA. We went on a tailored approach combining medical and holistic treatments which was able to support him to a full recovery. My commitment to bring the latest in the wellness industry to our loyal audience has come through personal experience and wanting to share and educate on what is available.
What are you most excited about in your business?
I get most excited when our loyal following see positive changes to their day to day health from taking KAILO Nutrition and or because they are under the care of one of our highly qualified team members.
What has been the most challenging thing about starting your business?
Finding the balance between being a Mum and building a business you are passionate about. There have been many sacrifices along the way and many lessons learned!
What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting a business?
Stay true to your vision however, always remain open to the journey as where you start is often very different to where you end up and that is often where the magic unfolds.
Why did you enter the AusMumpreneur Awards?
I was honoured to be nominated and was really impressed by the whole concept of honoring Mum’s in business.
What did you enjoy the most about being part of the awards?
Realizing there is a platform to celebrate women and a community that is being built because of it. Being in business can feel lonely at times and this award programme allows you to not only feel seen however, that there are so many amazing women out there to connect and learn from.

I love how much they celebrate and give exposure to women in business.
