What was the inspiration behind starting this business?
I started Coastal Therapies because I wanted more than just a clinic. I wanted a space where people felt truly seen, heard, and cared for. A place where healing meets heart, and clinical care feels like community
What are you most excited about in your business?
Right now, I’m most excited about watching Coastal Therapies grow into something bigger than me- a space where my team is thriving, clients feel empowered, and the ripple effect of real, heart-led care is spreading through our community. There’s nothing better than seeing the vision come to life.
What has been the most challenging thing about starting your business?
Starting a business while navigating motherhood, burnout, and the overwhelming pressure to have it all figured out. I built Coastal Therapies in the messy middle of life. not when it was perfect, but when the vision wouldn’t let me quit. And honestly, that’s where the magic happened
What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting a business?
Start before you feel ready because you’ll never feel ready. Back yourself, even when it’s scary. Build something that lights you up, not just what you think you should do. And surround yourself with women who remind you who the hell you are when the doubt creeps in.
Why did you enter the AusMumpreneur Awards?
I entered the AusMumpreneur Awards to celebrate how far I’ve come- not just as a business owner, but as a mum building something meaningful through the chaos. It was a chance to recognise the hard work, heart, and hustle that goes into growing Coastal Therapies… and to remind myself that I’m allowed to be proud
What did you enjoy the most about being part of the awards?
Being surrounded by powerhouse mums who just get it—the juggle, the passion, the late nights and big dreams. The AusMumpreneur Awards weren’t just about recognition… they were about connection, inspiration, and remembering that we’re not doing this alone
What surprised you most about the awards?
How emotional it felt. I thought it was just an awards night. but standing in a room full of fierce, talented mums chasing big dreams? That hit differently. It reminded me how powerful it is to celebrate ourselves and each other
How did the awards help you in your business?
The awards gave my business a confidence boost- and not just in visibility, but in me. It reminded me that what I’ve built at Coastal Therapies matters, and it opened doors to new connections, opportunities, and growth I wouldn’t have had otherwise. Game changer
What advice would you give to other mums thinking about entering the awards?
Do it. even if you feel like you’re not “ready” or “successful enough.” Entering the awards isn’t just about winning, it’s about owning your story, backing yourself, and showing your kids what’s possible when you chase something with heart. You’re more worthy than you realise.
What has been the best thing about starting your own business?
to create a business that reflects me, to work on my terms, and to build something that makes a real difference. Coastal Therapies started as a dream and became a space that’s changing lives (including mine) I get to do what I love, lead with heart, and show my kids what’s possible. That’s everything
What’s happening next in your business?
Big things are brewing! Coastal Therapies is growing, I’m expanding into mentoring other women in business, and my podcast’ Not That Kind of Mum’ is just getting started. This next chapter is all about scaling with soul, building a brand that empowers, and creating more space. For impact, freedom, and fun. Watch this space
What are your big plans for the future?
I’m dreaming big- because why not? I see Coastal Therapies running without me day-to-day, a coaching brand that supports women in health and wellness to grow thriving businesses, and a podcast that reaches women worldwide. I want to be speaking on stages, travelling with purpose, and designing a life that feels just as good as it looks. This is just the beginning
