If you’ve ever looked around and thought, “I don’t even know how I’m still standing,” this is for you.

I’m Vivi Rodrigues, founder of PinkChic Hair Care and Liss Brazil Nanoplasty. Today, people see the brand, the success, the confidence , but what they don’t see is how it started: with fear, chaos, and a woman trying to rebuild her life while raising five kids, running on hope and sheer determination.

When I began, I already had three kids , and two more came along while I was building the business. There were nights when I’d be mixing formulas at the home lab bench, the baby monitor glowing beside me, wondering how on earth I’d make it through another day.

What most people don’t know is that I was starting over , emotionally, financially, and personally. I had been through things that broke me, and I was scared. Scared to start again. Scared to trust myself. Scared to build something that might fall apart, just like everything else once had.

But I did it anyway.

Fear Wasn’t the Enemy — Standing Still Was

PinkChic didn’t start in a boardroom , it started in my home. Between feeding kids, school runs, and bedtime stories, I built my dream one label, one bottle, one late night at a time.

I used to feel guilty ,for missing moments, for being distracted, for chasing something that felt selfish. But one day I realized I wasn’t taking anything from my kids. I was building something for them.

They watched their mum build a brand from nothing, not because it was easy, but because she refused to give up.

Building a Brand on Truth

From the very beginning, I promised myself PinkChic would be different.

In the beauty world, I saw so many false claims, fear tactics, and confusion. I wanted no part of that. I wanted truth. Science. Transparency.

That’s how our hero product Liss Brazil Nanoplasty was born,a treatment made with integrity and care, designed to give real results without harm or hype. I wasn’t just selling hair care; I was changing how women understood it.

It wasn’t the fastest way to success , honesty rarely is. But it built something stronger: trust.

The Messy, Human Middle

There’s a myth that once you “make it,” life suddenly becomes easier. It doesn’t.

Even now, I have days where I feel like I’m spinning in circles , emails piling up, kids fighting in the background, a hundred decisions to make before lunch. There are days where I feel strong, and days where I still feel small.

But every day, I remind myself why I started , because I wanted freedom. Because I wanted my kids to see resilience in action. Because I wanted to prove to myself that my story didn’t end where it broke,it began again.

And that’s what PinkChic really stands for.

What I’ve Learned

Success isn’t about having no fear, no mistakes, or no pain.

It’s about moving forward anyway , with all of it.

You can build something extraordinary from the same place you once felt defeated. You can rise while still healing. You can be scared and powerful at the same time.

Because the truth is, strength doesn’t come from never falling.

It comes from getting up , again and again , until your story changes.

So, to every woman reading this:

Do it scared.

Do it with a messy house, a full heart, and a shaking hand.

Do it for yourself, and for the life you deserve.

Because one day you’ll look back at the version of you who decided to try again ,after everything , and realize she was the bravest woman you’ll ever know.
