Jess is an overachiever in all areas of her life. From 15 years service in the rural fire service, becoming a mum to her daughter Lillianna in July 2018 and launching her digital marketing business in January 2019.

Over the 6 years of entrepreneurship Jess has transformed her services from social media management, email marketing and sales funnels and administration to educating and teaching business owners how to implement tools and strategies and more.
We serve busy business owners that are looking to impact and inspire their audience and create a difference. The role we play is to support business owners weekly and take away the ‘busyness’ involved in running a business, allowing business owners to get back to what they are passionate about. We do this through planning and prioritising business goals and working out what will have the biggest impact if we change it now to relieve the stress and pressure immediately.
When she is not working, Jess loves to read, snorkel and spend time with Lillianna at the park, the beach and doing jigsaw puzzles together.

She strives to be a role model in her community by taking opportunities in a leading networking group from 0 to 500 women in 11 months and growing a global wedding industry group to 6000 professionals and leading a team of 20.

2. What lights you up?

I love educating and supporting others in business – it is the best feeling to really impact someone with the information I have and see the change that it can have with someone really drives me. Within our community we celebrate the wins at a high level and support our clients when they really need it!

3. Tell us about your business/es, how it helps people and what makes you different (and better) from all the others out there offering the same service?

Totally unleashed helps business owners uncover the passion they have inside, allow them to do what they do best and support them with the systems, strategy and the unknown in their business. Having run my agency since 2017, I have the business acumen as well as the hands on experience with the technology and requirements of running an online business. The skills that Jess strongly have include marketing, social media management and content writing, networking, sales, systems and procedure development. Being able to provide a whole ecosystem for entrepreneurs to truly thrive.

4. What inspired you to go into business for yourself?

When I was working in the corporate sector I realised I was the go to person for spreadsheets and helping my fellow colleagues create great trackers and easy ways to read data. From here, I expanded into supporting local businesses create the same things for their businesses. I moved companies and started creating social media content for business owners after volunteering to do this for a not for profit organisation. Shortly after changing companies I found out I was pregnant and it seemed like all the hard work was not appreciated. After sharing the news about our growing family, I soon received a letter advising that after my probation period i.e. when I was due to have a baby, there was no longer a position for me.
This feeling was the worst – I had poured my heart and soul into this job that I really loved and realised I was nothing more than a number to this big company. My dad was ill and I needed to look after him as well so once Lillianna was born, I spent nights in the rocking chair feeding her and learning all sorts of skills to be able to expand my services and get moving.

5. What has been the greatest lesson that being an entrepreneur has taught you?

Back yourself! Surround yourself around people ahead of you and learn from them and back yourself! Don’t take advice from people that aren’t your ideal client.

6. What are you excited about in the year ahead?

Growing the totally unleashed community will be the highlight for 2023. Working with amazing ladies, building confidence, skills and abundance for my clients – not only setting goals but achieving them!

7. How can people work with you?

We can work together as part of the totally unleashed inner circle community or we can work 1:1 depending on what level of support is required.
