When did you start your business?

Owning a travel agency was a 20 year old dream I had. In late 2019 I decided I wanted to returned to the travel industry,   After being way for the last 15 years and I wanted to make my dream of owing a travel agency come true and so Travel Moore was born.  Travel Moore was operational as a Mobile Travel agency and opened its doors for business on January 24th 2020. This was the day before the first case of covid was announced in Australia.

What was the inspiration behind starting this business?

My main inspiration for for starting my Travel Agency is that  I wanted my dreams to come true. Owing a Travel Agency is a dream I have had since I was a teenager.  starting this business saw that the dream I have had for 20 years finally come true.  By opening this business I  also got  to show my daughter that dreams do come true even if it’s 20 years later and that you should  always chase your dreams.

What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting a business?

Follow your dreams, believe in your self-and know you won’t be an overnight success but that’s ok, it will happen it just takes time and hard work. running a business can also be so rewarding. Remember it’s ok to make mistakes, and when you do learn  from them.  Back your self, you can do it. But Most importantly just be your self as that’s the best thing you can do for your business.- Just be YOU!

What’s happening next in your business?

Travel Moore has just registered to be a NDIS service provider, has a children’s story book about Kaylas Australian adventure book coming out in September and our child author project is now accepting submissions. Our sensory kits are due to be released by the end of the year.

What are your big plans for the future?

I want to be able to send one family ( who have an autistic child) a month away on all-inclusive holiday via funds raised by our day events and our Mummy and Me events.
