Please Welcome …

Bianca Murphy, Eco Boutique

Biance Murphy“Whiskey in a Tea Cup” that pretty much sums me up. I love to organise, bake, interior decorate, pretty things and being wife and a mother, that is the tea cup. The whiskey part, well that has to be the business brain of mine that can’t be quiet. Consistently creating, coming up with new ideas & never resting.

The photo above captures my world perfectly, on my hip is the love of my life Leopold Lucien Lee and I am in the middle of a business meeting for my business Veronica Joyce Eco Boutique. I am now launching a second business. Two businesses and a baby. I would love you to come with me on the journey that is my life of a baby and a business.

Haylie D, Haylie D photography

haylieMy name is Haylie, and I am the Owner & Head Photographer at haylie D photography. I specialise in Newborn, Birth and Maternity portraiture and am a natural light photographer located on the Gold Coast. I have two beautiful (and sometimes trying, yet always entertaining) children aged 7 and 9 and am a wife to the most fabulous and supportive man a girl could ever ask for … though he could pick up his dirty socks once and a while to help a Mama out 😉 I LOVE running my own business, my house and of course my gorgeous family.. I truly am blessed.

I have been in business since 2013 as a Newborn photographer, though I did run my own online little girls boutique (Little Miss Fascinated) for 4 years prior to that too.

Kylie Orr, Kylie Orr

Kylie-OrrHer dream of becoming a back up dancer for Janet Jackson was quashed by a distinct lack of talent, forcing Kylie Orr into a day job of writing. She has four children and one husband to fuel her inspiration.

After eight years writing for Essential Baby, Kylie was keen to broaden into genres outside parenting. She found the murky waters and the swell of rejection in this cut-throat freelance writing business overwhelming. But 2015 is her year. She’s determined she will be successful, she will conquer the writing world and make enough money to eat more than 2 minute noodles.

Naomi Liddell, Naomi Liddell

Naomi LiddellHi! I’m Naomi, I’m a Brand Identity and Web Designer living in Perth, WA. I’m a creative soul that loves nothing more than having my husband on my arm and my baby boy on my hip. When my son sleeps you’ll find me designing up a storm in my office and sending love notes to my clients. I’m an extroverted introvert happy to come out to play with other Mumpreneurs, but I fully recharge on my own with a To Do list or a sketch pad. As a productivity junkie, I see time and money as magic to be manipulated at will.

Pip Miller, Pip Miller PR

Pip-MillerPip Miller is a publicist, content producer and stylist in her home town of Cairns.  She also happens to be a mum of five children ranging in age from six to 19.  Her business, Pip Miller PR was established in 1994 and will celebrate its 21st anniversary in June.  With experience comes understanding and Pip is adept in the art of bringing a story to life, along with the importance of good quality photographs and imagery.

This knowledge has also helped nurture a styling career that began almost 30 years ago when she cut her teeth in the world of media  as a cadet journalist with Australian Consolidated Press.

Rachael Harland, Little Lands

Rachael-HarlandI’m Rachael, 37, mum to three biologically and foster mum to some.  Little Lands has been running now as a destination store since June 2014, before that I was building my business up slowly from re-investing all profits from the early days and gradually building up our customer base and brand.  Eventually our home was over-run with terrariums, and it was time to plant a real shop – and here we are!

Rachel Wheatley, Project: Breathe

Rachel-WheatleyRach Wheatley is a proud mum and wife who juggles day care drop offs, collecting pretty things and getting sweaty via a range of fun/crazy fitness adventures. Rach loves working with women who want to live a more meaning life and thrives on helping women live out their life purpose by developing the business of their dreams. She does this through her business Project: Breathe. Her online business and blog provides consultation, workshops and tools including motivational posters to help women go from ‘pie in the sky’ dream stage to ‘wow this business is actually happening’ stage.

Sharon Schreurs, Practical Care

Sharon-and-Heidi-PracCarePractical Care was born in 2014 after founders, Sharon Schreurs and Heidi Green wanted to create a Chemotherapy Care Kit to help with the most common side effects of chemotherapy, with a purely practical focus.

As an oncology nurse, Sharon would commonly write a list of practical items for patients when starting treatment. Over the years, this list became extensive. And although helpful, these items are not always readily available.

When Heidi’s mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer, she experienced the running around. Together, they hope to improve patient’s comfort at a difficult time by providing things they are likely to need.
