I started my business in 2021
What was the inspiration behind starting this business?
During my 17 years in law enforcement, I encountered countless individuals grappling with the aftermath of trauma, fear, and emotional turmoil. It was during this time that I realised the deep need for holistic healing approaches that extended beyond traditional methods.
What are you most excited about in your business?
I am most excited about witnessing the transformational change within my clients.
What has been the most challenging thing about starting your business?
My greatest challenge was giving myself permission to be someone other than a police officer. I had become institutionalised, believing that my qualities and skills could only be utilized within the realm of law enforcement.
What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting a business?
Choose a business idea that aligns with your passions and values. When you’re passionate about what you do, it becomes easier to overcome challenges and stay motivated during the entrepreneurial journey.
Why did you enter the AusMumpreneur Awards?
Entering the AusMumpreneur Awards allowed me to showcase my journey as an entrepreneurial mother in the field of somatic therapy, raising awareness about the transformative work I do. I also knew it would allow me to meet other heart-centered individuals, fellow Ausmumpreneurs where I can have build connections, have lasting friendships, exchange invaluable insights, and collaborate on projects that further empower women in business.

What has been the best thing about starting your own business?
The best thing about starting my business is the profound sense of empowerment it has brought into my life. It’s not just about the growth of my business, but also the personal expansion I’ve experienced. Moreover, being able to serve my community through my work is incredibly fulfilling, knowing that I’m making a positive impact on others’ lives while continuing to grow as an individual.
What’s happening next in your business?
I am currently creating a new self-paced course, as well as contributing to the creation of two anthology books scheduled for release at the end of 2023. I am also writing another book scheduled to be released in 2024.
What are your big plans for the future?
My ambitious vision for the future includes public speaking and television appearances, where I aspire to share my insights and expertise with a broader audience. I’m passionately committed to the ongoing authorship and birthing more impactful books into this world.
