What was the inspiration behind starting this business?

When I first started my own eCommerce business in 2011 I made a lot of expensive mistakes – loosing over $100k in a year… ouch! I started Unstoppable eCommerce to share my knowledge and stop others from wasting money like I did.

What are you most excited about in your business?

I love helping women create financial freedom for themselves and their families. I get so excited when they share their wins with me – their best revenue months ever. My favourite messages are when they let me know they were able to quit their jobs and replace their income with their own business.

What has been the most challenging thing about starting your business?

There are aways things changing in the eCommerce marketing industry. The most challenging part of my business is keeping all of my strategies and techniques up to date with what’s working right now and updating my training so it’s always current.

What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting a business?

Jump i and do it, but don’t do it alone. Find someone who can mentor you through the process. Someone has already gotten to where you want to be and learned a lot of lessons along the way. There’s no need for you to start from scratch and reinvent the wheel to be successful.

Why did you enter the AusMumpreneur Awards?

I love the Ausmum community and the people I get to meet along the way. I enter the awards to get credibility for my business and celebrate my success from the year with other amazing womenn.

What did you enjoy the most about being part of the awards?

Honestly the other incredible women I meet during the conference and awards. It’s a week each year where I am guaranteed to make new friends – how amazing is that?

What surprised you most about the awards?

The high calibre of mums in business in Australia. There were some extrodinary stories shared at conference from women doing amazing things.

How did the awards help you in your business?

They are a great way to showcase your achievements and get recognition for all your hard work. I love proudly displaying them on my website and bios.

What advice would you give to other mums thinking about entering the awards?

Absolutely go for it, but come along to the event too – it’s the best part!

What has been the best thing about starting your own business?

Having the freedom to work when and how I want. I have Friday’s off as a mummy+daughter day where we just do something fun.

What’s happening next in your business?

I’m growing my Unstoppable eComm Club and writing my first book! Exciting times ahead

What are your big plans for the future?

I want to be one the go to resource for women starting or growing an eCommerce business. I hope to help 100 women inside the eComm Club and 10,000 women through my Unstoppable eCommerce Podcast.
